mini bubbler sort of, bored as shit so i decided to make this. made out of a 5 hour energy shot bottle and a monster energy shot bottle, plastic tubing from a hand soap dispenser, 3/8ths socket wrench as a bowl, an some hot glue and aluminum foil. rate and comment!
Black n Decher stainless steel, perminent filter, I have tried water, bleach, vinegar, water over and over then ran hot sriing water and such for days then just water about 10 times. The pot is immaculate (baking soda and viinegar) No matter what I do the whole thing smells like bad water or something ANY OTHER CLEANERS? ANY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS ? It is 2 years old and has hardlt been used. Thanks
There has passed more than one year since a strange phenomenon was caught on a camera in my old kitchen. Since then I have moved to a new flat, but phenomena keep pursuing me again! The original video showed a pot of water, periodically bouncing and rocking as heated. This video initiated a fierce discussion about the origin of such the phenomenon. Theories went around simple mechanisms of a motor, explanations on molecular level, electromagnetic field from the heater, even a possession of the pot was suggested as a possible explanation. (YT: www.youtube.com In the present video a similar phenomenon has been watched. Here two corn cobs are rocking from one side of the pot to another as cooked. A possible explanation could be, that under the cobs a micro-boiling zones with higher pressure are created. These zones cause lifting of the cobs and subsequent falling on one direction under the gravity. The direction where the cobs will move is given by a momentum force near the walls of the pot. When a cob approaches the wall of the pot a zone with a higher pressure and an increased flow is created also between the cob and the wall. This flow kicks the cob moving to the opposite direction.
a)the freezing compartment is positioned at the top, not the bottom, of a tall deep-freezing unit. opeaning the door of such a unit for a short time has little effect on the temperature inside the unit.
b) small engines may be air-cooled, but larger engine, e.g. in motor cars, are usually water-ooled. eletrical equipment, e.g. transformers, is oil-cooled.
c) air is cooled when it is blown past coils in which a liquid is continuously being evaporated.
d) ice cubes dropped into a cup of hot water float on the surface of the water. when the ice cubes melt. there is no change in the water level.
e) on a sunny day at the seaside, the water is cooler than the sand.
f) the base of a saucepan (pot) is made of stainless steel but the handle is made of hardened plastic.
g) a burn resulting from contact with steam at 100 degree C may cause greater injury than one from contact with the same mass of water at 100 degree C.

Scatterbrain that I am, I turned an element on my range full blast to boil water, and wandered off.
At least an hour later (I know, I know) I return, alarmed, to find the water has boiled off. I turn off the heat and put the pot on another element, but now it’s making cracking sounds (the pot). 
Is it beyond repair? It’s stainless steel, but the bottom is a bit blackened and the inside looks stained.
If not, how can I dispose of it safely? I’m nervous about touching it as it is still making popping sounds. :S

I’ll let it cool for quite a while on it’s own first (those popping sounds are terrifying!).
And then I’ll try some suggestions for cleaning.

I don’t use the microwave and don’t want to go through the trouble of dirtying a pot and using the stove to heat a cup of milk. I ran out of the 5 gallon jug of Arrowhead water in the dispenser, so it is freed up to add more water and I was thinking, is it ok to pour some milk to make steamed milk (it has a feature for hot water)?
It’s a home unit that I purchased and own. I’m still tempted to do it, I was thinking I’d get "go for it" type answers lol but I don’t want "critters" hanging in it ugh. Wouldn’t a few squirts of regular water through the unit clean it out? I mean it comes out steaming hot that should kill everything. Maybe I’ll wait to call Arrowhead tomorrow to ask but I am craving it now
